The pictures from the Spirit rover / probe on Mars are truly amazing. The quality and resolution makes the Pathfinder images from a few years back look like they were shot on a disposable funcam.
Wow – come to think of it, Spirit and Opportunity are the two most expensive disposable cameras being used right now. :o)
I’m interested to see how the mission unfolds, since it looks like the European Beagle2 mission has turned out to be a lame duck. Maybe next time.
