I’d fallen in love with the sound of TLI when their debut album came out in 2014 and was eager to see them live. As is the way of things, when they first visited Glasgow I was out of the country and missed the chance so it had been a long wait for them to return.
We weren’t intending to go to Prague ’til we decided to scrap the idea of taking a city break in New York and opted instead for one in Europe. The capital of the Czech Republic was right at the top of our list and we quickly booked flights that would give us 5 days in the city.
I’d been wanting to see Brian Cox live for quite a while when the tickets went on sale in late 2017. So I snapped up a couple for myself and Carol and eagerly awaited the date in February. Too eagerly, as it turned out – I’d got ahead of myself and the actual date wasn’t until February 2019.
