Trying to sell the house in Liverpool looks like it’s going to be tough enough without the prices north of the border continuing to creep upwards. Looks like we’ll end up paying so much more to get so much less than we started with.
Well, that’s the first week in my new job over with and I don’t mind admitting that it was pretty hard going. With all the new procedures and software to learn, coupled with a new routine and an ill-advised mid-week night out with Crazy Uncle John, I was totally flagging as Friday afternoon wore on. Then my train home was delayed – like I needed that after a hard week.
I had barely recovered from my leaving do from Sony when I was sitting on the train on the way to Glasgow on Monday morning. Actually, I hadn’t recovered enough, as the low, bright sunshine brought on a migraine and I had to nip to the chemist for headache pills before making my way to work.
